New Book In Time For Christmas!

Greetings!

For the past few months, my third - and possibly last - book about Total Rewards has been in the works.

This is also my first autobiography - kinda sorta.

I talk about how wellness, benefits, compensation and pension "ought to" play out in someone's life by showing how they've played out in mine.

Tracing my journey from childhood on the farm, moving to a small town, then into the city, then getting married and having kids - the need to ascend Money Mountain to stay ahead of the rising Spending Sea has driven me higher into this career, way beyond where I expected (or initially wanted) to go.

And the book's structure mirrors one of my favourite Christmas classics!

Just as George Bailey longs to leave Bedford Falls and venture into the world on grand adventures yet his obligations keep him stuck in the Building & Loan, my passion for writing and a deep desire to make a life as a successful author has given way to the need to earn an income that pays the bills, keeps food on the table, and helps us not die.

The book is called "It's A Wonderful Career" and is with my Beta readers now.
